Made from 100% polyester, Sympatex is a moisture permeable material. It is a non-porous membrane applied to a polyester nonwoven.

Used for humidification, it allows humidity to reach the object (photograph, paper, parchment, etc) without it getting wet. Often used for the humidification method of removing residual adhesive, old linings and stains from water sensitive objects.

Sympatex is washable and re-useable. The filament construction provides added strength and minimizes fiber migration.
